Mark A Cella Better Ethics Are Needed in America

Mark A Cella Better Ethics Are Needed in America

Better Ethics Stem From Moral Values and a Belief System. Today’s Society is Very Complicated and Corrupt and Better Ethical Direction Will Bring Prosperity.

If ethics is the glue that holds any society together, then better ethics can only make life better for each and everyone in our society. Most Americans have a firm and honest grasp of ethics that governs the way they behave and the choices they make.

It is these ethical stances that dictate whether a community will stand firm together as one, or disintegrate due to the resulting friction brought about differing ethical positions.

Ethical values come under threat by people who are ardent for success by using unethical means. While the pressure to succeed in life can prove too much for some, that is never a good reason for one to abandon ethical values, which are the moral fabrics that keep societies and families together.

The pillars of good ethics such as responsibility, loyalty, and truthfulness assist in making right decisions regardless of the current situation or the environment that individuals may find themselves in at any given time.

Adhering to ethical behavior when faced with tough situations facilitates self-confidence, which is directly attributed to courage, a quality necessary to maintain ethical behavior.

These are qualities that successful people have in abundance and as a result are willing to overcome their fears and take risks in accordance to the principle of success. Better ethics are part of success, and for this reason it is imperative to have the pillars of good ethics be entrenched at an early age.

Mark A Cella Better Ethics Are Needed in America

The unethical on the other hand result to such tactics as telling lies or cheating due to their fear of failing. The evening news is impregnated with examples of unethical behavior in politics, corporate America, and families.

For example, the unethical behavior of a Susan Smith led to the murder of her two children in October of 1994 when she drown them in a lake in order to revive a relationship with a local man who didn’t want a ready-made family.

The Unethical behavior of former President Bill Clinton, who had intimate relations Monica Lewinsky in the White House and then lied about it, resulted in lowering the standards of our positional presidential candidates, which may have been the direct cause of overlooking the un-convicted felon Barak Obama as a candidate for president.

Mark A Cella Better Ethics Are Needed in America

Ethical behavior is a result of moral beliefs, which stem from a value system often attributed to a foundation spiritual belief or the worship of a higher power.

While a small minority of society races to eradicate any public acknowledgement of God, these same people would be replete to explain their own foundations of right and wrong absent the moral law of the Bible.

Better ethics stem from a sense of right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral, which all come from a source, and in America, the source is the Bible. Even the laws of America were established in lock step with the principles of the Bible.

In Washington D. C. you can see a monument of Abraham Lincoln, a true man of freedom who reverberates a sense of right and wrong, an ethical man who said in regards to the Bible:

“In regard to this Great Book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book.”

-	The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume VII, “Reply to Loyal Colored People of Baltimore upon Presentation of a Bible” (September 7, 1864), p. 542. -

Mark A Cella Better Ethics Are Needed in America

What better ethics is there than to do good to one another in society? But today in America ethics are under attack.

While military’s can protect a nation, and Congress can control the governing of a people, without ethics and ethical behavior a nation is defeated and lost, imprisoned and enslaved, and oppression reins supreme.

Therefore let those who are unethical fail in their pursuits and those who are ethical richly succeed.

But most importantly, let us never forget where the foundations of our ethical behavior stems from, and let us display courage to acknowledge truth, never forgetting that freedom is the result of better ethics from courageous men.

Gold is one of the most exquisite investments that any wise-minded businessman can consider. Not only is it priceless as a jewelry collection, it is also a good way of seeing that the future will look bright. Those who have enough money to invest in something that will not go out of style and will always retain a high value should invest in gold, even if it is only in the form of coins. As the time comes, its value matures and you will be surprised at how convenient it is to keep some for emergency expenditures.

Shopping for gold as an investment requires that you know where to look and learn how to consider the worth it’s being offered at. Finding and buying gold locally in your city is really helpful to keep down the costs of traveling that will make the gold more expensive. You can also buy gold coins on the Internet for those who are comfortable with the online world. Your best bet is to store them in a box at a bank to make sure they are not stolen or lost

Buying gold stocks is another option you have if you are interested in gold. Stocks are nice because you do not have the storage situation as you do with gold coins or bars. They could also be easier for someone who has a lot of money to invest. Needless to say, gold stocks can be utilized to add a stability factor to any portfolio and with the proper investments, you will see yourself building a nice nest egg for your future.

Gold bars can also be a part of your investment portfolio, but take note that they are more expensive and will require a safe place to keep them. Buying gold bars is a serious investment because safekeeping can become an issue. You should refrain from buying too many gold bars if you do not have somewhere to hide them safely.

Investing for your future by buying gold is not something everyone should do. Some people do it purely as a passion and out of a love for the beauty of the metal. Others buy gold for the hedge against uncertainty in a bad economy that it offers. Even others do it hoping to make money if the price of gold rises. No matter what your reason is for getting gold, hopefully it is going to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

There are always reasons why one may want to hire a private detective. It may be for business, family, or a nuisance on one’s village. Nevertheless, the most prevalent issues on private detectives’ successful career maybe due to the increasing demand for finding out a cheating partner. One might be too paranoid to look into changes a partner undergoes – a sudden interest in weight loss perhaps?

There can be numerous reasons for your doubts that you intend to dig a little to the truth. You may want to know the answer to questions you don’t want to be answered. The time when you suspect a change in your partner, you start to construct different kinds of scenario but ending into one you don’t want to know yet feel the compulsion to grasp the reality. You may wonder where your partner is going after a day at the spa and comes home late at night. You may start to question where the calls are coming from that you don’t know and the gesture of coldness towards you.

Affects may change that you start to change that you completely have no idea where it’s coming from. You smell perfume and striking get up just to see a friend and when they come back, a different aura is on the air. As soon as you start to talk, there will be a shift of atmosphere drawing arguments out of simple conversations. You may want to start probing on your own before hiring private detectives, then again.

Hiring private investigators can be a solution to your quandary.

To get to the bottom of things, private detectives do their job implicitly. It is their job now to let you know, see or hear the truth. They are paid to uncover mysteries you have solicited in. They can cost you around $60 per hour and above depending on their time and effort to solve your dilemma. Of course, hiring private detectives will be a last resort. You can never be too sure; it could further destroy your companionship.

Find the best Private Detectives from the top notch Private Detective Agencies who does business with intergrity!

ntellectual midgets and Pee Wee Herman The Congressman; Hell will freeze over before politicians can fix this economy.

ntellectual midgets and Pee Wee Herman The Congressman; Hell will freeze over before politicians can fix this economy.

The economy is in shambles. Unemployment is at an all-time high. Foreclosure has become an epidemic and we are looking to the same screw-up’s who put us in this mess to get us out.

Seriously, and I say this with all due respect the handicapped and economically disadvantaged, we would have a better chance of grabbing a random homeless, blind, deaf, mute, quadriplegic out of a refrigerator box shanty in a west Philly alleyway and betting one million dollars that we could train him to win the Ironman in a week, than we ever will depending on succubus congressmen and senators to get us out of this mess of which they are responsible.

Congress will blame this meltdown on aliens and the chupacabra before they admit any wrong doing.

Turn on the news and you’ll see an orgy of sweaty brow, finger-wagging and jaw-flapping politicians blaming a straw man CEO of an investment banking firm for ten years of his firm’s economic gluttony and purging (though he’s only been in this executive position for 90 days). It’s a set up. Wake up. It’s all just a distraction.

Bring in a clean cut yet power hungry executive, put him through rapid promotion from VP to CEO, tell him he’s going to a press conference then blindfold him, lead him to a 3×3 ft closet, toss in a dozen stink bombs, 10 day old soiled adult diapers, bottle rockets and fire crackers, turn out the lights, take off the blindfold, throw in a rabid squirrel, slam the door shut and 5 days later let him out to and ask him to run the Boston Marathon wearing an eye patch, Speedo and flip-flops while waving pompoms. Let’s get real. We need solutions, not a congressional Kid n’ Play dance competition. It’s a joke and we are the ones being laughed at; you, me and our children.

I have an idea! For the next presidential election we can have Pee Wee Herman run under the democratic ticket, the hunchback of notre dame can run under the republican ticket and we can have Chubaka run the CNN televised debate and we can have the post debate commentaries by Lady Gaga and the Teletubbies and why not? Americans would complain for 2 days and then buy the latest Asterix Comic for voting advice on the next election.

The Federal ban on sports betting has been blasted by anyone who knows anything about the subject for a number of different reasons. Though the US professional leagues suggest that sports betting threatens the integrity of their games, the opposite is the case. This is important because there would still be no shortage of outlets for college sport wagering, be it offshore or with your local illegal bookmaker. The professional bookmaking industry is usually where any type of compromised or fixed game is discovered. Ultimately, the true injustice of banning sports betting lies in its contempt for the Constitution.

Unfortunately, the Congress of the United States has shown very little respect for the Constitution in recent years. Were it to abide strictly by the role outlined for it by the founding fathers, the Legislative Branch of our government would have to relinquish any number of its powers in a variety of areas. The primary problem with our Congress is that it has increasingly become a collection of career politicians rather than a body representative of its constituency. As a result, the overriding concern of the average Senator or Congressman is increasing the power that he is able to wield, and as a result the power that his body is able to bring to bear.

The Federal prohibition of sports wagering which was enacted a few years back is of very dubious Constitutionality. Were it not for the grandfather clause, which allowed it to remain legal in jurisdictions in which it already existed, it would have certainly been struck down as unconstitutional on a number of different fronts.

The mere fact that a proposed law or initiative is unconstitutional offers no protection for the citizenry. If a politician can suggest that a law is for ‘the children’ many will swallow the bait hook line and sinker. In many cases such prohibitive legislation contradicts one of the most important concepts in the Constitution–that of the right to sovereignty and self-determination of the individual states:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Under the 10th Amendment, unless the power in question has been expressly given to the Federal government by the Constitution, and/or unless it has expressly been prohibited to the states to govern as it sees fit. If an individual state chooses not to regulate a certain activity, it is the right of each individual citizen to make their own decision.

So, you should be asking yourself at this point, where exactly does the Constitution delegate to the Federal government the right to make policy on sports gambling? The answer is that it doesnt, and it is very questionable that they have the Constitutional authority to do so. Fortunately for all freedom loving Americans the founding fathers would beg to differ.

Sports gambling may seem a minimally important issue to some, but the erosion of liberty is an incremental danger. The danger to broader concepts of personal liberty may seem a million miles away, but with each additional law intended to protect us from this or that the Federal government becomes larger and more powerful and the rights of the sovereign states”and the individuals that comprise them”are shrinking and being weakened.

Around the world we see that there are a great number of people that are showing a huge interest in historical crime fiction. There are many things that can be learned about this subject and we will touch on a few of them below.

Stories and novels that revolve around crime and the situations that surround the crime became in literature during the 19th century. The early stories that were seen did not have the private detective scenarios or the police involvement like the ones that we read today. Other aspects of the crime like motives and alibis were also things that were not seen in the books and stories during this time.

Arabic and Chinese writings are amongst the very first writings that have been found. Many of the stories that were written in these countries Have been translated into the English language so that people in other parts of the world can enjoy the pleasure of reading these remarkable pieces of literary history.

During the 1920’s and 1930’s many of the authors of crime fiction were found to be of British descent. Agatha Christie is a prime example of one of these authors that is extremely well known around the world.

During these early days we find that much of the crime readings were based more on the whodunit aspect than anything else. The way that an author could twist the thinking of readers was very intriguing to them and they loved that type of manipulation that they could do through the writings that they created.

A lot of themes are available for people to opt from when it comes to what they can read. By having a huge selection of topics you can find something that is personally close to you and what your interests are when it comes to the historical type of readings you enjoy. Many of the oldest writings can be found to be some of the best reads available.

The internet is a great way to learn more about historical crime fiction. There are a lot of websites that have tons of information about the novels and stories that were written years ago. Looking through this information can be the best way to find things that may be of interest to you. You can also see reviews and recommendations that have been written by others that share this same type of interest.

Looking to find the definititve source of information on historical crime fiction?

Alexis Arguello, one of the greatest boxers to ever compete, was found dead in his Managua, Nicaragua home in early July of an apparent suicide. He was 57 years old. Arguello was the mayor of Nicaragua’s capital city at the time of his death.

Known for his class outside the ring as much for his tenacity inside the ring, hes best known to casual fight fans for his epic war in’82 with Aaron The Hawk Pryor when he moved up in weight after dominating at lighter weight classes. Ring Magazine not only named it Fight of the Year, but later would dub it Fight of the Decade. Promoter Bob Arum offered these thoughts on Pryor/Arguello:

“It was a brutal, brutal fight. That was something I will never, ever forget as long as I live. That was one of the most memorable fights I ever did.”

Arguello is arguably the best lightweight and junior lightweight in the history of the sport. Arguello never lost a fight at-0 pounds and would end his career with an astounding 82-8 record with 65 knockouts and championships in three different weight classes. At the time, he was only the sixth man in boxing history to hold title belts at three different weights.

Ironically, Arguellos career didn’t get off to a good start and he lost his debut in’68 via first round TKO. After that, he seldom lost again and would go on to be respected as one of the best pound for pound fighters of his day. He was at his best against his toughest adversaries including Ray Mancini, Bobby Chacon and Ruben Olivares. Bob Arum remembered him not only as a great fighter, but as a great man:

“Not only was he one of the greatest fighters I’ve ever seen, he was the most intelligent fighter. He was a ring tactician. Every move was thought out. And he was a wonderful, wonderful person.”

Arguello was also very quick to remind younger fighters on their responsibility to the sport and how champions should conduct themselves. Here’s he speaks of his attitude toward his opponents:

“Of course after the fight you want to make sure that you’re okay and so is the other guy, its a brotherhood in there, so you want to make sure everyone is okay after the war is over.”

Arguello didnt fight for his first title until he’d had 58 fights, and would frequently admonish boxers who didn’t show the same respect for the sport or their status as champion:

“When you won that title you should know now that you are representing a whole country or nation with your actions and you are now in a glass house or under a microscope and you better be ready to make your people proud.”

Most importantly, Arguello loved boxing and sought to protect it from those who would undermine its greatness:

“I respect boxing because it has given me so much and thats why I will never allow anyone to mistreat the sport of boxing if I can help it.”

While the modest, dignified Arguello would never say it himself he also gave back immeasurably to the sport of boxing with his grace, intelligence, talent and toughness.

People with high intellectuality and handsomeness have the power of attracting and dominating others by those virtues and this is one of the most common thing happening in the world of feelings. Similarly, complex life styles will be so hectic that instances of simple living will immediately reach them and impress those who lead such complex lives. This has been agreed as the inevitable truth and with no exceptions possible, the same was found to be true in the case of Irish and British lives.

The Irish were very simple in their living and this brought envy from the people of Britain as they thought of dominating the place and to use it resources for their advantages. The Irish were too trusting and they fell for the plans of the traders, thinking that they truly are willing to help in improving the Irish status. But ill – treatment and suppression were the price they paid for those goods Then the Irish could no longer stand the brutality in the British dominance and they challenged their suppressors in small groups which were immediately crushed.

Fifteenth century saw the conflicts between the British and Irish strengthen beyond limits, when Henry the eighth planned to bring Ireland under the leadership of the English government. He had initiated this idea just because the Irish opposed the English rules and dictatorship and to prevent the Island from becoming a base for future rebellions or foreign invasions of England. After conquering the entire stretch of land in 1541, Henry declared it as a full Kingdom and proclaimed himself as King of Ireland.

The fire of the feud between Ireland and England was fueled by this action and many rose against this preposterous activity by the English people. Later on, the immigrants in England were subjected to various forms of insult and most commonly referred incident is the order by the government which prompted English people to place plaques outside English bars and pubs which read, “No Dogs, No Irish”. But they had the nerve of copying and plundering the valuable resources from Ireland during their period of reign there.

In the mid sixteenth and the early part of the seventeenth century, England’s crown governments made it possible of the people of England to migrate to Ireland and take care of the plantations there. But in 1791, there came a new era for the people of Ireland which was the introduction of the society of the united Irishmen and in 1800, they were brought under the Act of Union with the United Kingdom.

The English were responsible for having made several finest English architectural examples across the Irish lands, admirable by even the Irish in spite of their hatred for Englishmen. By the introduction of the Act of Union, the Irish and the Englishmen have been able to share their knowledge and live peacefully. The English are now sharing with the Irish, their own privileges in England and thereby influence the Irish even to this very day.

Seventeenth century seems to be a time of difficulties for the people of Ireland, as that is the period when invasion, plundering and insulting events that are way beyond explanation has occurred. People, whose forefathers have passed down the details of the events of their own lives, are still able to give written proof of the nightmarish incidents and the effect they had on the lives of their ancestors. After crushing a large number of small rebels in the regions of Ireland, the English had been able to subdue the island and they were able to convert most of the Irish lands into following Catholic ideals.

In the early parts of the eighteenth century, the English and the Irish had made the Act of Union and this enabled the differences between the two regions to subdue greatly. North and South parts of the Irish lands were facing internal conflicts which were mainly on whether to follow their old customs or to follow new principles in governing the region better.

Prosperity kissed the northern part of Ireland and kicked at the southern part of it, which made the difference in opinion amongst them more opposing than before. The prosperity of the northern parts was due to the tremendous improvement in industries and manufacturing units, with the help of the Britain. The southern regions were suffering due to uneven distribution of lands and due to steady flow of problems from the British and the Northern Irish settlers. The riots which followed this event was so intense that the help of British government was sought; this resulted in the permanent division of Ireland into northern and southern regions.

The Catholics wanted complete independence in this division and there was huge political unrest in the Irish lands for a good part of the early twentieth century. In 1920, the Government of Ireland act was passed in an effort to pacify all of the Irish community which however did not serve its purpose well. British forces stationed in the Irish lands had to face countless attacks from the Irish Republican Army or the IRA with the use of guerrilla warfare style.

In the year 1921, however, the legendary treaty of peace was signed between the different groups of Ireland. The result was that Northern Ireland got hold of six counties while twenty three Southern counties and three counties from Ulster were brought under the region of southern Ireland. Following these turn of events, the independent republic of Ireland was formed and things seemed to have come into control after this for some time.

Ireland had to face more problems in the year from 1960 to 1990 in the form of bloody violence between the Catholics and the Protestants in the land. Intensive armed attacks between the Independent Republican Army and the Protestant paramilitary forces broke out, forcing them to seek help from the British troops again to resolve matters. This brought about the signing of the Anglo-Irish Agreement between the British and the Irish Prime ministers. Following the cease fire from the IRA, the implementation of this treaty was successful in 1994. At last, in 2010, all the governing powers of Irish lands were given back to Ireland, but the echoes of the past still resound once in a while.

One of England’s most beloved sporting figures, Sir Bobby Robson, yielded to his courageous fight with cancer recently at the age of 75. Even the often critical British press had nothing bad to say about the universally respected Robson, headlining their obituaries with adjectives like The Bravest Knight or simply The Legend.

Robinson enjoyed a twenty year career as a player, split between the English Premier League clubs of Fulham and West Brom. He also earned twenty ‘caps’ in International play for England, scoring four goals.

After his retirement in’68 as an active player, he found more fame as a team manager both in England and on the international level. In the EPL, his guidance transformed Ipswich Town from a laughing stock to a league powerhouse and he would lead the club for well over a decade. He would also serve as the England National Team manager for 8 years, before ending his career in British football with a stint as manager of Newcastle United that ended in 2004.

Robson earned even more love and admiration from his countrymen due to his public battle with cancer. Although a brain tumor left him partially paralyzed in 2006, he never wavered in his commitment to English football or to raising money and awareness for cancer treatment. After being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2007, he dedicated the rest of his life to helping others with the same diagnosis. He started the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, and raised well over one million pounds for the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre in Newcastle.

Even two men who seldom see eye to eye on anything–Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson–were in agreement on Robson’s greatness:

“I wanted to and I will keep with me always the Bobby Robson of every day, a person who had extraordinary passion for life and for football, with an extraordinary enthusiasm. Bobby Robson is one of those people who never die, not so much for what he did in his career, for one victory more or less, but for what he knew to give to those who had, like me, the good fortune to know him and walk by his side. My thoughts and embraces go to all his loved ones.”

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson shared these touching comments:

“In my 23 years working in England there is not a person I would put an inch above him. I was never too big or proud to ask him for advice, which he gave freely and unconditionally. And I’m sure I am speaking for a lot of people when I say that. I mourn the passing of a great friend, a wonderful individual, a tremendous football man and somebody with passion and knowledge of the game that was unsurpassed.”

“His character was hewn out of the coalface; developed by the County Durham mining background that he came from. His parents instilled in him the discipline and standards which forged the character of a colossal human being. He added his own qualities to that which he passed on to his sons. The strength and courage he showed over the past couple of years when battling against his fifth bout of cancer was indescribable. Always a smile, always a friendly word with never a mention of his own problems.”

“The world, not just the football world, will miss him. Let’s hope it won’t be long before another like him turns up because we could never get enough of them.”

Many EPL clubs will honor Robson in some form or another during the upcoming season with a number of more lasting tributes planned.
